MODULAR EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR ACTIVITY PROFESSIONALS (MEPAP)

Accepted by CMS since 1987, the MEPAP is the required curriculum for the NCCAP Certifications of Activity Professional Certified (APC), Activity Director Certified (ADC), and Activity Consultant Certified (ACC). 

STANDARDIZED AND APPROVED MEPAP COURSES

• The Standardized MEPAP course is created and maintained by NCCAP. Course fee is $650 for APC and includes the Coursebook and initial 2 years of Certification.
• Approved MEPAP courses are accepted by NCCAP for Certification. Check with an Approved Instructor for course fee. 

ACTIVITY PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED (APC) and ACTIVITY DIRECTOR CERTIFIED (ADC)

• MEPAP 1-APC is required for the entry-level certification of Activity Professional Certified (APC).
• MEPAP 2-ADC and MEPAP 1-APC are required for Activity Director Certified (ADC).

CLASS FORMAT

1. Face-to-Face:  In-person meetings onsite or using teleconferencing like Zoom or Skype.
2. Instructor-Supported Online:  Students start the class together and go through coursework and exercises together. Includes a combination of Learning Management System, pre-recorded lessons, videos, DVDs, or online reading.
3. Independent Study.  Open enrollment starting at various times and proceeding at your own pace. Includes a combination of Learning Management System, pre-recorded lessons, videos, DVDs, or online reading.
4. Hybrid Course. Partially online and partially face-to-face.
