Engagement Certifications

NCCAP Engagement Certifications are designed to support all care providers, frontline and direct support staff, and family caregivers with the knowledge and skills for person-centered care. Engagement Certifications may be used to meet facility-wide education, training, and in-service requirements as well as for proof of competency for Regulators. 

 Available Engagement Certifications: 

NEW: Person-Centered Care Community. A concise 4-hour curriculum for all staff on the essential skills to effectively engage, communicate and interact with residents. Designed as sixteen 15-minute lessons on dementia, trauma, behaviors, cultural competence, diversity, equity and inclusion, self-care and more. When completed by a majority of staff your community earns NCCAP certification as a Person-Centered Care Community.
