The Value of NAAP Membership

Since 1982, the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) has supported the education, advocacy, and professional resource needs of Activity and Life Enrichment Professionals across long-term care and aging services.
NAAP is recognized by CMS as the organization authorized to establish the Professional Standards of Practice for the Activity Profession and recognizes NCCAP certification as meeting those national standards.

In 1986, NAAP established the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) in response to the federal requirements of OBRA ’87. Today, NCCAP certification continues to represent the highest standard of qualification in activity and life enrichment services.

Students enrolled in the ADC Complete course receive NAAP membership as part of their enrollment, giving them immediate access to professional education, resources, networking, and industry support while preparing for certification and professional practice.

NAAP membership provides the tools, education, support, and connections Activity Professionals need to strengthen quality of life, meaningful engagement, and person-centered care for those they serve.
