Do I have to have experience to obtain my ADC certification if I have taken MEPAP 1 & MEPAP 2 or the Standardized ADC Course?

No. NCCAP no longer requires experience for ADC certification if you have successfully completed MEPAP 1 & MEPAP 2 or the Standardized ADC Course.

The only exception is if you are applying through the Experiential Track.


Do I have to provide my CE’s when I renew?

No. You will only be required to submit your Continuing Education (CE) documentation if you are selected for an audit.


Can I use my company email for my profile communications?

NCCAP does not recommend using a company email address, as company email systems often block or bounce communications due to firewall settings.

Please note: NCCAP charges a $15 administrative fee to change an email address that was originally listed as a company email.


I did not receive my renewal email. What should I do?

I receive text messages from NCCAP. Are they legitimate?

Yes. NCCAP uses a texting feature to send mass text reminders to professionals regarding grace periods, lapsed certifications, and renewal reminders.


Am I able to take my National Exam from a tablet, Chromebook, cellphone, work computer, or library computer?

No. Public and work computers are not permitted, as they often have firewall or security settings that prevent the proctoring site from functioning properly.

Your computer must also have:

  • A working camera
  • A working microphone

I have registered for a Standardized Course. How long does it take to receive my Resource book?

If you paid in full or submitted a course deposit, your resource book will be mailed the following Friday and should arrive within 10 business days. A tracking number will be emailed to you once we process your enrollment. 

If you elected to pay by check, your resource book will not be issued until the check has been received.


I have taken my National Exam. How long does it take to get the results?

Immediately. 

If you do not pass the exam, you will receive an email notification with your exam score within 10 business days after taking the exam.

If you pass the National Exam, you will receive your certification within 10 business days after NCCAP receives the official exam results.


I level changed from APC to ADC. Why was my expiration date not updated?

When level changing from APC to ADC, your expiration date remains the same as your original certification expiration date.

You are still responsible for renewing your certification by the listed expiration date.
